Saori's Sweets with the Charm of Kyoto Mont Blanc
Located in the beautiful Kawaramachi district of Kyoto, Saori is a Japanese café born out of a desire to spread the beauty of Tanba chestnuts to the world.
The restaurant's quiet and relaxed atmosphere allows diners to enjoy the sounds of the Kamo River and the atmosphere of Kyoto.
A particularly recommended menu item is the Kinshi Mont Blanc "Sa", which makes use of Kyoto's Tanba chestnuts.
This Mont Blanc is made with less sweetness, allowing the natural flavor of the chestnuts to stand out.
Saori also offers a variety of other desserts, such as parfaits made with chestnuts and seasonal fruits, rice cakes made with chestnut flour, and chestnut and seasonal fruit tarts.
Also popular on the take-out menu is 1mm chestnut Mont Blanc soft serve ice cream.
